A Rail Shower with Top Inlet offers the same functions as a rail shower but has a streamlined shower rail with integrated hose to eliminate the need for a separate wall elbow. A great solution if you are looking at upgrading your existing basic shower, but remember to call a qualified plumber to discuss your options.

A Hand Shower has a hose attachment which provides greater flexibility than a fixed or adjustable shower. It can be handy addition to your bath or combined with an overhead shower.

A Rail Shower with Overhead has all the function of a rail shower but also includes the luxury of an overhead shower head without the expense of a shower system.

No we have decided to keep it simple and all our CLARK showers come in single function.

It is simple to change to an adjustable, fixed or hand held shower if you just have a basic shower today. You can also replace a basic shower with a shower on a rail but that will require holes to be drilled into the tiles to fix it securely to the wall.  At CLARK we always recommend you call a qualified plumber to make these changes.

To almost everybody, the words ‘stainless steel sinks’ bring to mind a smooth, shiny metal which is very strong, does not rust, is easy to clean and lasts a long time.

A diverter is used to switch water supply between two different water outlets.  Either between a shower and bath or two different shower heads within the one shower.

Stainless steel sinks are easy to clean.  Routine cleaning with soap, mild detergent or ammonia solutions in warm water followed by a fresh water rinse is usually adequate for normal soiling.  Repeated applications and the occasional use of fine nylon-scouring pad will often remove heavier soiling and even stains will become less noticeable and even invisible.

Due to the nature of stainless steel material, sinks may be easily scratched with the normal day-to-day use, especially with sharp utensils, it is difficult to keep a mirror finish.  Stainless steel is rust resistant, rather than scratch resistant.

Stainless steel is rust resistant, rather than scratch resistant.  To remove light scratches the following can be used.
Step 1:  Use the flexible sanding pads to clean the sink surface – the following product can be purchased at Bunnings.  Uni-Pro – Flexible Sanding Pads – Medium
Step 2:  Place the pad to the surface and apply light force by hand in a straight line motion, moving from side to side.  Ensure to use this pad in the same direction as the grain.

CLARK sinks and tubs are manufactured using 304 or 316 grade stainless steel and are 100% recyclable.  It is a requirement that all laundry tubs and cabinets are installed by a licensed plumber.

At CLARK, we believe it is always best to call a qualified plumber if you are changing your taps.

It is possible, but it depends on how much work is being undertaken in your renovation.
1. If you are replacing your vanity unit and 3-Piece taps in the basin, you can put a mixer in your new vanity and basin.
2. If you want to replace your 3-piece taps in your bath or shower this could mean a big renovation is required.  You may need to remove tiles from the floor and walls to re-do plumbing to meet your renovation requirement. We recommend you speak with a qualified plumber or designer to understand your plumbing requirements.

Chrome plating has been the traditional finish applied to our products over many years. Coloured tapware has become popular in recent years.  Colour is applied to your tap in the same way that colour is applied to your car or any coloured appliance you might have in your kitchen.

Jumper valve taps use a washer that squeezes down into the tap to stop the water coming through when you turn it off, or lifts up and allows water to flow through when you turn it on.
A ceramic disc tap uses 2 ceramic discs which glide smoothly against each other to either open or close the water flow, requiring little force to turn the tap on and off.

The valve in the tapware could be worn, seized or someone has not turn the tap off properly.

Your plumber will install the inwall body component before the wall is put up and tiles applied.

This is used by the plumber to finish off installation of your wall mixer and is fitted after all the tiling has been completed.

Like most things, all coloured tapware and accessories will scratch overtime with use.  However if you don’t abuse your tapware or accessories and follow our simple care instructions your colour finishes can last for a lifetime.

There are many variants that can be a factor in determining the options you have available if you want to replace your toilet. The key pieces of information are typically referred to as the ‘set-out’ dimension.
